Friday, May 28, 2021, marked the end of an era for Shaka Ssali at the Voice of America. Shaka grew up in Kabale village in Uganda and joined the Voice of America 29 years ago. For two decades until his retirement, he hosted VOA’s ‘Straight Talk Africa’ show.
