Heat Wave 7/2026 Day 3 | Setup and Run Fans and Air Conditioners 7/3/2026

Fans and air conditioners running 7/3/2026, the third day of the July 2026 heat wave. This day was less extreme with temperatures topping out in the mid 90s, but the humidity levels remained high particularly at night, keeping the outdoor conditions rather uncomfortable. The Hampton Bay Cameron and the SMC A52 in the kitchen continued to provide a strong, reliable breeze to supplement the air conditioner. ‪@ESDI80‬'s Citation branded, Gibson manufactured, air conditioner was installed into the kitchen for evaluation. Very nice machine! Bug freakshow in the kitchen. A Crompton Greaves High Breeze ceiling fan in the computer room pushed insane amounts of cool air around the room generated by the Hampton Bay (Fedders) HBD160-D 16,000 BTU air conditioner with Rotorex compressor. This unit is dehumidifying much better than it was when I initially installed it, now it performs as I would have expected.
