Our worst day of van life in Japan. We have been doing full-time van life in Japan for over one year but today was our worst day yet! Accidents and problems are bound to happen if you live in the road and we are grateful that we have made it this far in our campervan conversion in Japan without having any more terrible incidents like this one. In this Okinawa travel video, we continue our camper van trip in Japan with a rental van from Nissan Prince Hyogo and set off to explore Miyako Island, one of the most beautiful islands in Okinawa, Japan and home to Japan's most beautiful Okinawa beach. There are many other islands close by Miyako-jima which can be accessed by bridge so it's the perfect place for a van life trip or road trip in Okinawa. Travelling Japan by van is not always easy but Miyako Island is actually a great place for a camper van trip in Japan since there are many places where it's allowed to park up overnight, unlike other islands in Okinawa. There are plenty of toilets and showers at the beaches which for anyone doing Japanese vanlife, is a saviour!
