Symposium: González, Pedrosa, and Ostrander on Exhibitions
In this fifth session of a symposium held at the Guggenheim as part of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative, curator Pablo León de la Barra introduces presentations by Julieta González, Adriano Pedrosa, and Tobias Ostrander. Each speaker talks about exhibitions of contemporary art from Latin America in which they have been involved, in the process deconstructing what “Latin American art” might mean. Curators Sofía Hernández Chong Cuy and Jens Hoffmann moderate a subsequent conversation.
