Survival Test: OEX Bobcat 1 Budget Tent vs. Horrendous 45mph Winds - Will it Survive the Night?

Will the OEX Bobcat 1 survive 45mph winds all night long or will it snap under pressure. I test it out and stay inside it for 14hrs. Putting it through it's paces and taking on powerful winds throughout the night. Please bare in mind that this is a one pole tent, things could go horribly wrong but if they do I can make it safely off the Moor and to my car. I was literally cooking our even tea with Charlie when I made the decision to head out the door. I had been following the weather forecast over the week and noticed heavy winds were due in my area on this night. I had my bag packed ready if the forecast was true. Looking through the window just as tea finished cooking I saw the trees in the garden going crazy. So packing the food just cooked I headed out the door. The walk up onto the top of the Moor was pleasant enough but by the time I had reached the top all that changed! Hit by powerful winds and rain from every direction I begain to look for a pitch. After what seemed an age I finished erecting the tent and quickly got inside. I was battered from the setup and was in need of a brew and time to relax before facing the onslaught of the night in a small £49 budget tent. Will I Survive The Night?
