Just a short walk to the left after exiting the east ticket gate of Kintetsu Kashihara-jingumae Station! I visited the Grand Mercure Nara Kashihara, a hotel managed by the French Accor Group. This stay featured the much-talked-about all-inclusive package and a surprising buffet style! At the newly opened 8th-floor lounge, "Le Ciel," I was able to relax immediately upon arrival, enjoying the beautiful mountain range of Mt. Futakami while savoring carefully selected sweets and drinks. The Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet dinner offered such a wide variety that I frequently forgot to take pictures—a truly satisfying lineup! I thoroughly enjoyed everything from sashimi, gratin, meat, shabu-shabu, and seasoned rice to alcoholic beverages and sweets. After refreshing myself in the hot spring bath and sauna, which use a natural spring on the premises, I headed to the spacious relaxation area. The exquisite "Amaou Vinegar" served there was so delicious that I can understand why some people visit specifically for it. The breakfast buffet the next morning also boasted an astonishing variety of dishes. While the video only shows a small portion, we thoroughly enjoyed a luxurious and satisfying experience.
