First, a detailed concept and storyboard were developed, after which neural networks helped recreate the inimitable atmosphere of sun-drenched Odessa in the 1920s. Each image in the video is a highly detailed watercolor illustration with rich colors, where the characters' faces are rendered almost photographically, conveying the subtlest emotions in static scenes. The neural network carefully preserved the continuity of the main characters—the lovelorn Syoma and the cunning beauty Rachel—throughout their cinematic journey from Primorsky Boulevard and the bustling Privoz market to the steps of the Potemkin Steps. The lyrics belong to the people—it's a great legacy that lives on. The design, arrangement, and unique musical style were developed by Almir Streltsov, who managed to infuse the wild energy of retro jazz and Balkan beat into the classic tune.
