RADIO and TV CHAMBER The Industry, Commerce and Services Committee approved, this Tuesday (9), a project that facilitates the interstate marketing of artisanal food products and their participation in international fairs, competitions and events (PL 2775/2019 and related bills). In an interview with Painel Eletrônico the day after the approval (10), the author of the proposal, Deputy José Medeiros (PL-MT), defended the measure to reduce bureaucracy for selling, transporting and presenting products in international states or events. According to the approved text, the interstate marketing of artisanal food products, with their own regional characteristics, is permitted, provided that they are subject to inspection by public health bodies of the states, Federal District, municipalities or consortia of these federative entities. In the case of international fairs and events, the exit of products from the country is permitted with express and simplified authorization from the federal Executive Branch. “Here in Mato Grosso, for example, we have families who make cheeses, sometimes participating in competitions in Europe, but they face many difficulties in participating in these events. And then when it comes to commercialization, it's another ordeal. [...] Mr. José, who produces cheese or smoked ham to sell at the fair, cannot be treated the same way as JBS or any other large meatpacking company,” stated José Medeiros. The deputy assessed that the project also contributes to preserving the country's cultural and food heritage. “We have all this richness here in Mato Grosso and in other states of Brazil, and this project will make it easier for people to showcase this food wealth and do so safely,” he highlighted. The proposal now goes to the Agriculture Committee for evaluation and, later, to the Constitution and Justice Committee. In principle, the project can go directly to the Senate, without going through the Plenary. And the Legislative Radio and TV Network Meeting 2026 begins this Wednesday (10), in the Chamber of Deputies, in Brasília. This year's event focuses on looking to the future, especially with the prospect of TV 3.0, the new generation of television in the country, going live. Experimental broadcasts of the new technology will be conducted during the meeting. In an interview with Painel Eletrônico, moments before the event's opening, the supervisor of the Legislative Radio and TV Network, Carlos Neiva, recalled that the participation of public broadcasters in the TV 3.0 project began two years ago with the Ministry of Communications and the National Telecommunications Agency, along with private channels. The experimental transmission begins in Brasília, with the transmitter, receiver, and applications already operational. "So, it is with great pride and satisfaction that we will have this start of experimental transmissions, with the transmitter already working here in Brasília. Everything is real, with a real receiver as well, receiving the signal through applications that are still under development, but it is a significant first step in this evolution that is TV 3.0," Neiva emphasized. The Chamber's staff member explained that TV 3.0 technology combines television broadcasting with the internet, in order to expand viewer interaction with the new platform and enable content personalization. Legislative TV channels, such as the Chamber and the Senate, will have their own applications, as will the Common Platform for Public Communication and Digital Government Service, Mais Br.
