Akinori Goto Unlocks the Secrets of Time with 3D Printing – Brought to you by Hyundai
Japanese artist Akinori Goto is transfixed with time, and he uses 3D printing and light sculptures to both unlock the secrets of time, and explore its relationship with movement. Combining two-dimensional movement with 3D printing, Akinori delightfully demonstrates how we can both visualise and materialise time in this ART+TECHNOLOGY episode. Fusing this fascination with his love of nature and its beauty, Akinori’s poignant art examines the human body through aesthetically-pleasing movements, such as ballet. For Akinori, art and technology is a way to experience the world, which begs the question; is 3D art is the new film? Art+Technology is brought to you by Bloomberg Media Studios and Hyundai.
