1983 Auburn Highlights vs. Alabama

The Auburn Tigers clinched the SEC Championship by defeating Georgia in Athens. Though they won the conference title, losing to Alabama would have deflated the jubilation of winning an SEC Championship. A victory over Alabama would also keep the Tigers in contention for a possible National Championship. It was a close game as Alabama put on an offensive display during the first half but the Auburn defense limited Bama to 100-yards and 6 points during the final two quarters. Bo Jackson's two long touchdown runs was the primary difference in the game, before the skies opened up with heavy rain fall and winds that would limit the passing game in the final quarter.
