SCI QOL Patient Reported Outcome Measures in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation

Putting patient voices at the centre of spinal cord injury (SCI) care sounds simple. Making it work in rehabilitation settings takes planning. In this webinar, we will share how our team introduced SCI QOL patient reported measures in the AboutMe™ platform across three rehabilitation sites, with a practical focus on how we did it and what we learned. We will walk through our implementation plan co design with patients and clinicians, selecting priority domains, timing them around key rehabilitation milestones, and creating feedback reports to be reviewed during clinical encounters. Scoring examples will illustrate how PROM feedback can support treatment decisions and patient engagement. We will conclude with pragmatic guidance for teams considering PROM integration and outline next steps to refine domain selection, streamline feedback, and improve usability.
