34027 "Taw Valley": Hastings - Ashford Steam Trains: (at Ore and Doleham).
Southern Railway West Country Class Bullied Light Pacific No 34027 "Taw Valley" came to Hastings in 1992 to operate some special steam hauled excursions on the line between Hastings and Ashford to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the opening of the line. Seen here on an Ashford bound journey climbing the bank out of Mount Pleasant Tunnel and through Ore station; the second scene is running tender first through Doleham halt on the return journey back to Hastings.
