34027 "Taw Valley": Hastings - Ashford Steam Trains.

Southern Railway West Country Class Bullied Light Pacific No 34027 "Taw Valley" came to Hastings in 1992 to operate some special steam hauled excursions over the line between Hastings and Ashford at the 150th anniversary of the opening of the line. When leaving Hastings Station the Bullied had a bad bout of wheelslip (which the light Bullieds are notorious for) and had to set back into the station and have another go at the bank. As you can see from the final shot, we did eventually make it to Ashford.
