The Floating Market of Iquitos, Peru! 🇵🇪 (Belen Market)

Exploring the amazonian market of Belen in Iquitos, Peru! Getting on a boat and seeing the floating community! This was my last day of my amazonian adventure in Iquitos! I heard of the legendary Belen Market, full of Amazonian delicacies and I had to go check it out! I started by trying the mystery juice of Aguajina made from the Aguaje fruit, that comes from palm trees. Some of the market venders were really happy to see a gringo exploring while some brushed me off. Some random guy asked if I wanted a boat tour to see the floating community and I happily agreed. It was crazy seeing how much the water fluctuates throughout the year! I ended the day by trying some cayman (a lil alligator). It was not so delicious but it only costed a dollar. If you ever get the chance to go to the Amazon, you need to take it because it is like nothing you've ever seen before!
