I quickly made friends with the owners son who also manages the hostel! He offered to bring me out and show me around Cusco! He asked if I wasted to see the touristic/historic side of Cusco or the local stuff and obviously I wanted to see how the locals live. We went around jumping from market to market seeing all the different things Cusco is known for! I encourage anyone if they are traveling to Peru to take a break from the tourist spots like Machu Picchu and take a chance to explore all the local markets and see how the locals live every day!
