Empowering Education Through Clean Water Access

Al-Khair Foundation is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing sustainable aid, clean water, education, and emergency relief to communities in need across Kenya and beyond. Prior to this project, the school's 1,000+ pupils faced severe water challenges daily. Students frequently had to walk long distances down to a seasonal river to fetch water, risking their safety and losing valuable classroom study time. With this new clean water source right in the school, the students no longer have to carry heavy water buckets from home or the river. This project ensures an immediate supply of safe drinking water, improves school hygiene, and provides necessary water for the school's agricultural activities.
