ATDev Podcast Episode 50: David Jaffe on Perspectives in Assistive Technology

In this episode of the ATDev Podcast, host Owen Kent sits down with David Jaffe, who has taught Stanford's "Perspectives in Assistive Technology" course (ENGR 110) for 20 years. David explains how the 10-week, project-based class works: teams of three to four students design a real device alongside a local community member, a person with a disability or an older adult, who stays involved through the entire quarter. What started as preparation for capstone work grew into one of the most hands-on design experiences on campus.
