Il Propagandista dell’ODIO: Julius STREICHER
A fighter during the Great War, a primary school teacher, a politician, a writer and an editor: Julius Streicher has been part of German history much more than one might think. A staunch supporter of Fritsch's anti-Semitic theories and an avid reader of the historical forgery "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion", Streicher became one of Hitler's best friends in the 1920s. Founder and editor of the racist newspaper "Der Stürmer" and participant in the Beer Hall Putsch of 1923, Streicher made a career as Gauleiter of Franconia. But his real role was that of inspiring Nazi pogroms, brainwashing the younger generations, promoting propaganda so disgusting that it even outraged hierarchs of the caliber of Goebbels, Goering, Himmler and Hess.
