Armistice, 1940 : les enregistrements cachés d'Hitler
On June 21 at 3:30 p.m., the members of the French delegation arrive at the clearing of the armistice, in the Oise, in the forest of Compiègne. Hitler is busy staging the great ceremony of revenge at Rethondes in order to humiliate France. To engrave it in the history of the Reich, the Führer secretly records all the negotiations. A unique copy recorded on discs will be given to Marshal Pétain. But the copy will disappear in the chaos of the end of the Second World War. The recent discovery of this copy of the recordings allows us today to tell from the inside and for the first time, the drama that unfolded at Rethondes. Directed by: Emmanuel Amara
