Mauser C-96 Broomhandle Pistol in 9mm Export "The Other Red Nine"
Today we're looking at a Mauser C-96 Broomhandle Pistol in 9mm Export caliber. This rare caliber was introduced by Mauser in 1904, and Mauser pistols were sporadically produced in this caliber until 1914. The cartridge enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in the 1930's with various submachine guns, but the original Mauser pistols using it are interesting and rare guns that are often mistaken for 9mm Luger caliber.
