Battlestar Galactica #1 - Atop the Fourth Wall

Welcome to Atop the Fourth Wall, where bad comics burn. In this episode, Linkara reviews a Battlestar Galactica comic in the style of Rob Liefeld! http://atopthefourthwall.com Originally uploaded July 22nd, 2013. ORIGINAL INFO: Fleeing from Cylon tyranny, the last battlestar, Galactica, leads a rag-tag fugitive fleet on a lonely quest… for a better comic. RUMINATIONS: Not much really to say on this one. At the time, I had had a long string of episodes that were all sequel episodes to previous reviews and I always prefer to mix things up a bit with sequel episodes and new stuff, it's just some rescheduling had forced a lot of sequels in a row. It didn't help that I had solicited the wrong comic, not realizing, as I said in the intro, that the one I had intended to review was actually the conclusion to a series of minis about the show, so it would have REALLY not made any sense. The little one-minute recap of a Battlestar Galactica episode was very much in the style of the quick-recap of Star Trek I had done back in the first Star Trek/X-Men crossover. I'd love to do more of those kinds of things - it's very much a "5 Second Movies" kind of thing like Doug Walker used to do, but obviously intended to be longer and with more jokes poking fun at a lot.
