In a tremendous basketball game from start to finish, the Virginia Tech Hokies were able to upset the No. 13 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on the road, 105-94 in double overtime. Carleigh Wenzel had an amazing game for the Hokies, scoring a team-high 24 points to go along with 10 assists, 3 steals, 3 rebounds and a blocked shot in the win. Rose Micheaux and Lani White each chipped in 20 points for the visitors as well. Kara Dunn did everything that she could to keep the Yellow Jackets in it, scoring a game-high 33 points on 11-19 shooting along with 10 rebounds while Tonie Morgan added 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and was able to pass the 1,000 points scored mark as well.
