Thank you for watching, this is Negoro. I went to Aga Town in Niigata Prefecture. Although it's in Niigata, it was part of Aizu territory for approximately 700 years. On the map, it's completely within Niigata Prefecture, yet it has horse sashimi, retains Aizu culture, and was under the control of the Aizu domain until 1886 (Meiji 19). I toured and documented the over 1,500-year-old Shogun Cedar, the legend of the fox wedding, the hot springs stained red by iron, and the townscape of Tsugawa, which strongly retains the spirit of Aizu in Niigata.
