Something I never expected happened in an old house in Banyuwangi. Initially, I just intended to find a cheap place to rest for two days, but it ended up revealing a different side of me that's hard to explain. From the mysterious smell, like a corpse that often lingered, to the window that shifted position on its own, to the small rock that suddenly hit my chest—it all felt so real, even though my common sense tried to deny it. I still believe that sometimes nature has its own way of speaking, even through things that can't be explained. After that incident, I continued my journey to Bali, feverish, shivering, and weak. The boat ticket from Ketapang Harbor to Gilimanuk was cheap, but this time the journey felt longer than usual. Fortunately, upon arriving in Bali, I found a traditional Balinese inn in the Munduk area that was super comfortable and quiet—a place that ultimately became my recovery point before continuing my next expedition.
