Hi!!! In this video I tried to make an old axe, an axe in the old style. How did I manage to restore an old axe? Hello everyone This time I want to remake an old axe into an axe, stylized in the old style with an ornament of the Maya people. After tinkering with it, I got a good converted axe with a beautiful traced pattern with an ornament in the form of an unknown animal, I also added the head of a mythical animal to the of the axe. How do you like my work? I took an old axe, presumably from 1967, as the basis for my new axe, the axe was in poor condition, the cutting part was completely worn off, which I had to re-harden in the work. To this axe I decided to betray the form that I came up with myself. What did I do? Cut off unnecessary metal. Cleaned and sanded. He made the hardening of the axe by heating and lowering it into water. When the blank was prepared, I decided to put on it an image on the theme of the Maya civilization in the form of an ornament in a modern style. After electrochemical etching of the drawing, I blackened the metal by the blackening method. Also, when the old axe was completely ready, I decided to decorate the axe with paints. I was satisfied with the result of this work and I hope you also liked it.
