This time, trying to escape the first heat of summer, I wanted to return to the Gran Sasso area, but to a side I'd never been before: the eastern face of the mountain in the province of Teramo. We're talking specifically about the Prati di Tivo area, which hides numerous gems, one of which is the wild and wonderful Val Maone and the Rio Arno waterfall.
