Six companies were irregularly awarded a tender for the supply of road construction and building materials by the National Youth Service through the IFMIS system that detected the attempted siphoning of over 800 million shillings. The directorate of criminal investigations probing the matter seized six computers from NYS employees to establish the person responsible for the fraudulent entries. Investigations show no evidence that money was lost in the process,
