Is your Bowflex 552/1090 Dumbbell Stuck in its Base? Nothing else worked? Try this as a last resort!

If your handle is stuck in its base, and the "foot method" (   • How To Tutorial: Fixing Bowflex SelectTech...  ) doesn't free it up, try carefully tipping your base upside down on the floor to release the plates and handle. Then place the base upright on the floor and reinsert everything into it. If the dumbbell and plates are so stuck that the methods above still don't work, try the method shown in the video above as a last resort. This method is a bit extreme, but it will always work to free up a stuck dumbbell.
