A Journey Back in Time at Lenzburg Castle (Switzerland)

Lenzburg Castle (Schloss Lenzburg) is one of the most important hilltop castles in Switzerland. It is located in Lenzburg in canton Aargau and few weeks ago, my family and I visited it to attend "Reisen im Mittelalter" - "Journey into Middle Ages" event. For this occasion more than 100 reenactment players dressed up in medieval clothes and presented different aspects of life in the 12th century. Lenzburg Castle is also a home of lovely Museum Aargau. We've visited its exhibitions and learned about castle's history, life in Middle Ages and even dressed up as knights and queen. It was fun day we all will fondly remember.
