Fishing Lake Powell, Anchovy, Jerk Baits & Ticklerz Ned Rig, Spring Striper Action (Mid May), Utah

Light wind and warm weather, had to return to Lake Powell for a nice long day trip! This time I decided to try bait fishing around the usual spots near Wahweap. Trying the Dam, Buoy 3, Near Antelope Marina Walls, and Navajo Canyon. Didn't find any large schooled up Striper but there were fish and did pretty well along the wall later in the afternoon after chumming up the area. Did some trolling in Warm Creek which resulted in excellent results and also tried a new Ned Rig by Z-man, The Ticklerz, which worked for both Striper and Smallie. Another excellent day on Lake Powell and the Stateline Aux Ramp is now fully open so no waiting to unload/load boat!! A beautiful Mid May trip, can't wait to return!!
