The evidence: WhatsApp messages pulled from Crime Intelligence general Feroz Khan's phone allegedly show Khan and businessman Mohamed Sayed coordinating with Malema on a 2021 plan targeting the Inspector-General of Intelligence — including a message allegedly asking for Operation Dudula members to be "arrested tonight," relayed through Sayed. Malema has formally denied all of it. In his affidavit, he disputes the authenticity of the messages, calls the allegations unproven, and says receiving law enforcement tips is normal for an MP. Notably, no message shows direct contact between Khan and Malema — everything runs through Sayed. No charges have been filed. No arrest has happened.
