After the biggest upgrade project I've ever done on this truck, it's finally time for the real test. In this video, my upgraded Traxxas TRX-4M High Trail Chevrolet K10 takes on the first section of my self-built crawler course. This is Part 1 of a two-part series, and right away the truck has to deal with loose terrain, technical lines and large rocks that push the setup to its limits. 🪨 First Real Test After The Upgrade After installing: 👉 Full Injora ball bearings 👉 New Traxxas low-range transmission gears 👉 Complete drivetrain service and lubrication it was finally time to find out if all the work was worth it. And honestly... 👉 the difference is noticeable immediately. 🔧 Smoother Than Ever The truck now drives and rolls incredibly smoothly. Throttle control feels much more precise, and the lower gearing is perfectly suited for technical crawling. Power delivery is significantly improved, allowing the truck to tackle obstacles with much better control than before. The setup feels so smooth and predictable that you almost forget it's still running a brushed motor. The power reaches the wheels far more efficiently, making difficult sections easier to manage and much more enjoyable to drive. 😲 A Spectacular Recovery Not everything goes according to plan. At one point, the truck gets stuck in a difficult section of the course. It looks like the run might be over... But then it manages to free itself in spectacular fashion and continue the climb. Moments like these are what make RC crawling so much fun. 🏁 First Impressions The upgrade has completely transformed the driving experience. Better control, smoother operation and improved crawling performance make this truck feel more capable than ever before.
