Winter Camping in Southern California

It’s February in the southwest and that means we’re looking for warm desert camp sites well below the snow line. In this video we talked about how we decided between the multiple options we had. Our goal was to find a nice big group site that was dispersed that we could take our friends to that wouldn’t go below freezing at night. We know Anza Borrego quite well, have been camping out there many times, but still seem to find new areas to explore. On this trip we explored the northern area of the park around Sheep Canyon.
