Henk Jongerius (1941-2024), prior, Dominican, and poet Holkje van der Veer (1960-2022), Dominican and writer Until April 2024, a small community lived in the monastery in Huissen. After the death of Father Henk Jongerius, the last Dominican left the monastery in August 2024 to move into a nursing home. How do we find peace in our hectic lives? Can you still be vulnerable in these difficult times?
