Not my own righteousness, which is from the law, but the righteousness that comes from God through faith in Christ. 10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 so that in some way he who is dead To attain to the resurrection from the midst 12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already attained perfection, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it yet. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and pressing on toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Therefore let us who are perfect think this way. If you think differently about anything, God will also reveal this to you. 16 But whatever far we have come, let us continue to do so. Our citizenship is in heaven. 17 Brothers, imitate me together, and look at those who walk as you have imitated us. 18 I have told you many times, and now I tell you again with tears, that many are acting as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their end is destruction; their god is their belly; their glory is in their shame; and they think of earthly things.
