Es el más pequeño de los 5 municipios que conforman el Área Metropolitana de Caracas. Su capital es el casco histórico de Chacao. Posee solo una parroquia de nombre homónimo (San José de Chacao). Hace frontera con los municipios Libertador al oeste, Baruta al sur, Sucre al este y con el estado La Guaira al norte. Lo que hoy es Municipio y Parroquia San José de Chacao fue un área de Haciendas y Ejidos Cercanos a Caracas donde produciaba de café 🇺🇸 I went for a walk through Chacao! Its capital is the historic center of Chacao. It has only one parish with the same name (San José de Chacao). It borders the municipalities of Libertador to the west, Baruta to the south, Sucre to the east, and the state of La Guaira to the north.
