What happens when somebody completely changes the direction of their life and starts building something rooted in purpose? In this week’s Florida garden tour, I visited The First Fruit Project — a rapidly growing 12-acre homestead and food forest in Florida filled with tropical fruit trees, farm animals, regenerative systems, and one incredible story of transformation. Just 6 months into developing this property, Zach is already growing: 🥭 50 different mango varieties 🌱 Lychee trees, avocados, peaches & ice cream beans 🦋 A butterfly sanctuary with 1,500 released monarch butterflies 🐓 Chickens, ducks, turkeys, cows, donkeys, turtles & koi fish But this tour goes deeper than farming. Before building this life, Zach experienced homelessness and addiction in Arizona. Now he’s using agriculture, purpose, and community to create something entirely different for his future and his family.
