By special request, here's a cleverly written and fun-to-play bassline from the great Gail Ann Dorsey and the king of Rai. Thanks to @Yac Sissou for the suggestion. Edit, April 2023: I have now made a simple TAB for this tune which covers the main theme of the bass, without the ad-libs. It's a 3 and a half bar phrase but you will notice that at the beginning of the song only, the bass comes in halfway through the 1st bar, right on beat 3 (F# or E2). The rest is as written.
