Talk of Hope LCAM special The biggest step forward
Lung cancer screening represents the most significant breakthrough in the early detection of lung cancer to date. After decades of tireless campaigning by Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, it’s now a reality – and we’re committed to making sure it delivers the best possible outcomes. So far, the results speak volumes: in England, lung cancer screening has helped ensure that 75% of people diagnosed are caught at an early stage, when treatment is more effective. Joining us today on Talk of Hope are two people who know just how life-changing this can be – Ian Joynson and Susan Williams, who both benefited directly from this groundbreaking programme.
