Talk of Hope Podcast - Why are more young women getting lung cancer?
Staggeringly, women aged between 30 to 49 who have never smoked have more than twice the risk of developing lung cancer than their male counterparts, and yet this disease is still one that is so readily associated with men. We are proud to fund a new research project that aims to help us better understand young women and lung cancer and speak to lead researcher Dr Cecilia Pompeli to find out more about the project.
