Sonny and Brenda - "Baby, think about what we had", 1995

Brenda is packing up the last of her things at the apartment when Sonny walks in. She picks a fight with him calling him a hypocrite for blaming her for sleeping with Miguel when he went right ahead and jumped into bed with Lily. He tells her that she stabbed him in the back when he trusted her. Brenda tells him that no, he didn't trust her. She didn't care if he was involved in the mob -- all he had to do was trust her enough to tell her the truth and she would have gone with him all the way. She asks him why he's with Lily. She wonders if it's to consolidate his position with Rivera or because she comes from his world and knows all the rules. Brenda tells him that she doesn't believe he loves Lily more than he loves her; maybe it's because he doesn't love Lily as much so he's not as afraid of losing her. She asks him to think about what they had, asking him: "Wasn't it worth it?"
