I discover my new favourite workout (Zumba!), Glenn tackles more DIY, and we enjoy a night of comedy just steps from our front door. Fixing the Leak & Cosy Weekend Moments | Daily Vlog | Sat 15th & Sun 16th November (2025) Saturday,I started the day by making kidney bean brownies — a bit of a random choice, but they turned out surprisingly lovely! I did a bit more sewing before catching the bus to meet Glenn. Later, we headed into Torquay for a stroll and finished the day with some good old-fashioned fish and chips by the sea. Sunday,Today was the day — Glenn was determined to find and fix the source of the leak. With Steve's help, the floor was raised, the problem was identified, and it was finally repaired. It was a big job, but a successful one. I cooked a delicious roast dinner and managed to squeeze in some more sewing. It was such a relief to see the leak finally sorted — Glenn has been so worried about it. Totnes Christmas Tree, Dawlish Black Swans & Winter Waves | Daily Vlog | Mon 17th November (2025) A day of high excitement — the Totnes Christmas tree was delivered to the Market Square, and we had a perfect ringside seat as it was lifted into place. It really feels like the festive season has begun.With the sun shining, we set off to make the most of the gorgeous day and drove to Dawlish, home of the famous black swans. Sweet of the Week & Dishwasher Repair | Daily Vlog | Tues 18th November (2025) A full workday for me — right into the early evening — but I made sure to take a mid-afternoon break for a stroll down to Morrisons. While we were out, we continued our Sweet of the Week Challenge at Cranch’s Sweet Shop. This time, the shop assistant chose Grey’s Teacakes for us — a chewy coconut-toffee delight. An unusual flavour… but we really liked it! Berry Head Walk & DIY at Home | Daily Vlog | Wed 19th November (2025) We take a trip over to Brixham and enjoy a beautiful walk up to Berry Head — the views are always worth it. For lunch, Glenn and I share a delicious fish finger sandwich (because food always tastes better shared!). Back at home, Glenn puts up a new shelf, and I make a chicken-and-leek dinner with leftovers from earlier in the week. A productive, lovely day! Comedy Night with Paul Sinha | Daily Vlog | Thurs 20th November (2025) ThursdayA work day for both of us, but the evening more than made up for it. We popped just a minute’s walk from the flat to see a comedy show — such a treat to have entertainment right on our doorstep! The main act was Paul Sinha from The Chase, and he was brilliant. A great night full of laughter and the perfect way to end a busy day. Zumba, Charity Shop Friends & Brixham Lantern Parade | Daily Vlog | Fri 21st November (2025) Workout number two of the week, another Zumba class, and I absolutely loved it! On the way home, I stopped at Oliver’s the butcher to pick up some meat for dinner, then rushed back to the flat to make homemade doner kebabs. In the afternoon, I headed to the charity shop for my shift and had the pleasure of meeting Ian and Mandy — lovely viewers who kindly popped in with apples from their own orchard. Later, I hopped on a couple of buses to Brixham to meet Mr Warner. We watched the lantern parade, soaked up the festive atmosphere, and enjoyed some seasonal treats. I had a mulled cider, and Glenn enjoyed his first mince pie of the season. A perfect end to a busy and joyful day! Welcome to A Life Full of Meaning I’m so glad you’re here.
