Mid Norfolk Railway 'Summer Steam Gala' - 29.06.2019

Late June 2019 would see the return of the MNR's steam gala, with this years event looking to be a big one with both 60009 and 6233 visiting, unfortunately just a week before the gala the MNR was told that the two locos couldn't attend due to no available light engine paths, however the railway was able to secure two other visiting locos at the very last minute, well done MNR! The engines in service were.... Hunslet '75008 Swiftsure' (Long term loan) *On Worthing Shuttles Standard 4 '80078' (Summer Visitor Courtesy of Mangapps Railway Museum) NE T2/ LNER Q6 '2238' (Courtesy of the NYMR & NELPG) USA S160 '5197' (A extremely last minute replacement for replacement loco GWR 9466) Having only visited the line once before I decided to stay around Dereham station, spending a few hours catching the engines at work.
