On December 11, 1997, at 3:01 PM, her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II disembarked from her 'floating palace' for the very last time. Having been decommissioned after 44 years, The Royal Yacht Britannia today remains locked in that final farewell moment forever. A testament to British engineering and a time capsule holding the memories and secrets of it's time serving the Royal family. In this episode, we'll tour the Royal ship and see behind the scenes what life must have been like both 'upstairs and down'. We'll look at the history, talk about the honeymoon of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and learn about a time when the Queen's clothes turned blue!
