Our Sailing Plans Fell Apart… But in the Best Way!

One thing we’re quickly learning about this lifestyle… sailing doesn’t care about your plans. We had every intention of continuing south toward Georgetown, one of the most well-known cruising hubs in the Bahamas, but with so many things working against you out here, it's easy for plans to fall apart. This time though, our plans are derailed after we learn that there are some big events about to happen at Staniel Cay. What we thought would just be a quick stop turns into something much more, as we find ourselves surrounded by a lively, festive atmosphere that we never would have experienced if everything had gone according to plan. This episode is a reminder that out here, sometimes the best moments come from the plans that fall apart. If you're new here, we're Dylan and Teresa!
