This Could Change My Cruising Plans Forever

It’s the final day of the shakedown cruise on my new yacht, and we sail back toward Ocean Marina after a few incredible days out on the water. The boat has been amazing, the dogs have loved it, and this was supposed to be the simple final leg back to the marina. But once we got back, everything changed. I had a major health scare and ended up going to the hospital. At this point, we still don’t know exactly what’s going on, but the doctors are looking at some very serious possibilities, including pancreatitis or cancer. This news could change my cruising plans completely — and possibly a lot more than that. I’ll keep sharing the journey as we figure out what comes next. Thanks for watching and for all the support.
