PRIMA DEI DEEP PURPLE: la storia segreta che ha creato una leggenda

Before becoming one of the most important bands in rock history, Deep Purple was the result of chance encounters, intuitions, failures, replacements, and people who, in some cases, never really joined the group. In this episode, we tell the story of their birth: from the visionary Roundabout project conceived by Chris Curtis, to the arrival of Jon Lord, Ritchie Blackmore, Nick Simper, Ian Paice, and first singer Rod Evans. A story of forgotten musicians, auditions, rejected opportunities, lineup changes, and incredible coincidences that led, step by step, to the birth of Deep Purple. And above all, we return to their original identity: still far from the power of the Mark II, but already capable of leaving a distinct mark with Rod Evans on vocals and a sound suspended between psychedelia, rock, and experimentation. Before their global success, before Ian Gillan, before Smoke on the Water, there was another story. And that's where it all began.
