In this issue, I will start with a look at the airport after arriving at Melbourne International Airport (Tullamarine), Australia. There was a Biggie Smalls in the restricted area, which was available with Priority Pass, but I did not go in there because I had eaten a full meal in the morning. From the airport to the city, we took the SKY BUS, which costs about 20 AUD, to the Southern Cross Station, with Essendon Airport on the way. At Southern Cross Station you will see Coin Lockers, Hungry Jacks, Mövenpick Hotel, KYOTO MART, and Flagstaff Gardens inhabited by possums, which are rare abroad, before arriving at the Pegasus Apartment Hotel. We drop off our luggage and go to Operator25, the first well-known restaurant in Melbourne, where the food is good and the cafes are plentiful. There is a bit of a line and the restaurant is very busy. Some of the dishes are made with Japanese ingredients and I had the flat white and ube waffle. They were super tasty and this restaurant is a must. After dinner, we visited BENTO MAN on Frederick Way, JAPAN 7, and the street art at Electric Place. The Pegasus Hotel is a 4-star hotel. The rooms are fully equipped with a kitchen, appliances, cooking utensils, etc. There were also O2-type outlets, security boxes, and Wifi. The common area on the 2nd floor has a swimming pool, sauna, gym, and laundry. The laundry also cost about 5AUD, but everything is conveniently done cashless by credit card. Australia also does not sell alcohol late at night, but you can buy beer and wine in the hotel at the front desk for about the same price as in a supermarket at a discount. After arriving in Melbourne, we will have a glass of local wine, a meat pie from the supermarket, lemon cream yogurt from the Daily Farmer, and our favorite Mee Goreng, and rest up for tomorrow's sightseeing in Melbourne.
