This time, we will visit Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria in the Commonwealth of Australia. Melbourne was ranked the number one most livable city in the world in 2002 and 2004. It has been ranked the world's most livable city for the past seven consecutive years in the Economist Intelligence Unit's 2018 World's Most Liveable Cities Index, although it missed out on the number one spot by 0.7%. Melbourne is a popular multicultural and multiracial city. Walk a little north of the center of Melbourne. We will see Torasan Ramen and visit two local Asian markets, Lao Yu Ki Hometown Asian Supermarket and Tokyo Hometown Japanese Supermarket. On Franklin Street, after completing the formalities at a collection of car rental shops from ALDI supermarket, we will finally go on a full-scale tour of the city. The Queen Victoria Market, the largest market in the southern hemisphere since 1878, offers everything from seafood, meats, vegetables, fruits, cheese, sausages, sundries, and souvenirs. I had a delicious white wine and cream mussel. At the Victoria State Library, which dates back to 1853, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the library with its skylight glass and large atrium. Finally, we went under the Little Bourke St. tower and walked through Melbourne's Chinatown, where we encountered Japanese ramen stores along with many Chinese restaurants. There are delicious tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen restaurants such as Tokyo Tonkotsu: Hero, Hakata Gensuke, Musashi, and many more. Compared to other Chinatowns around the world, there are fewer mature Chinese restaurants, but finally we found a Nyonya restaurant MY COLONIAL CAFE on the Malay Peninsula. There are many Japanese stores in Melbourne, but many of them seemed to be run by Chinese people.
