Welcome back to our TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) series, where we put our gear to the test and dive deep into coffee quality. Next up is the Bezzera Sole, we will be showing you how to install the HD E61 showerscreen, how to use the water meter and talk about getting the most out of our HE basket. In this TDS series, we start by pulling an espresso shot using a coffee machine stock standard and compare it to a shot made after upgrading the machine with our premium equipment. Using a TDS meter, we determine which shot delivers the best extraction in terms of dissolved solids, one of the key indicators of espresso quality.
